The speculation surrounding President Donald Trump’s health reached a fever pitch over the weekend, leading to widespread rumors of his demise. The phrase “Trump is dead” gained traction, sparking confusion as the President had not made public appearances for a few days during the Labour Day Weekend.
Concerns about the septuagenarian politician’s well-being heightened despite his physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, affirming in April that President Trump was in excellent health across various areas. Addressing the media on Tuesday, Trump dismissed the death rumors, citing his recent successful news conferences and contrasting his visibility with the absence of his political rival, Joe Biden.
During a recent White House meeting, observers noted an anomaly in Trump’s suit sleeve, prompting speculations about his physical state. Furthermore, discussions arose about discolouration on his hands during a significant announcement regarding the Space Command HQ.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the President’s health, refuting online speculations as baseless and politically driven. Concerns about recurring bruises on Trump’s hand were raised by Medical Director Dr. Jeff Foster, attributing them to aging and potential medical treatments such as IV therapy.
Previous reports in August highlighted a bruise on Trump’s hand, with experts suggesting possible causes like blood-thinning medication or skin fragility due to age. Moreover, the White House confirmed Trump’s chronic venous insufficiency and explained the bruising as a result of frequent handshaking while on aspirin for cardiovascular health.
