A pregnant woman, Rebecca Park, who was close to delivering her baby, has been tragically found deceased in a forest, prompting a search for the missing infant. Rebecca, 22 years old, was last seen leaving her mother’s residence on November 4th, at 38 weeks pregnant. Witnesses observed her entering a dark-colored vehicle before disappearing without a trace.
Her phone was later discovered abandoned near her mother’s house. Several weeks later, Rebecca’s body was located nearly 50 miles away from her last known whereabouts, with an autopsy revealing the absence of her baby. Authorities are actively pursuing leads to locate the infant.
Rebecca’s fiancé, Richard Lee Falor, and her 21-year-old sister, Kimberly Park, were arrested but not yet charged in connection with her death. Falor, a 43-year-old with a criminal record, faces drug-related charges and the possibility of life imprisonment due to his prior offenses. He is currently in custody on a substantial cash bond as a flight risk, as reported by Mirror US.
During an interview, Falor recounted the last moments he spent with Rebecca, stating that she left willingly with someone in a black sedan and has not been heard from since. He expressed concern for her safety and the well-being of their child.
Kimberly Park, Rebecca’s younger sister, is held on charges related to obstructing justice and providing false information to law enforcement. Despite their detainment, neither Kimberly nor Falor have been implicated in Rebecca’s demise, according to The Sun.
The exact cause of Rebecca’s death remains unknown and is under investigation, with authorities emphasizing the limited information available due to the complexity of the case. Stephanie Park, Rebecca’s adoptive mother, has broken her silence to express the deep affection for her late daughter.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, Cadillac Police Department, FBI, Michigan State Police, and others, are collaborating to determine the baby’s condition and whereabouts. Sheriff Trent Taylor has urged patience and understanding from the public as they strive to resolve the tragic circumstances surrounding Rebecca and her missing child.
