In a surprising move, Sky has just revealed the comeback of one of its beloved channels. The highly popular Sky One channel will make a return to screens later this month after being closed down in 2021. Sky announced that the relaunched channel will feature a lineup of irresistible comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.
Viewers can also look forward to favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted, all accessible on channel 106. Additionally, Sky One will debut Saturday Night Live UK later this year.
Replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max, the relaunched channel aims to consolidate a diverse range of entertainment offerings in one convenient location, simplifying the viewing experience for audiences.
Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, stated, “Our objective is to streamline the process for Sky TV customers to discover and enjoy their favorite shows.”
Drawing from the rich legacy of Sky One, the channel is positioned as a unique destination that is dynamic and vibrant, featuring brand-new Sky Originals like The Dyers’ Caravan Park, fan-favorite series such as Rob & Romesh Vs., and serving as the home of the highly awaited Saturday Night Live UK.
