A teacher, Leanne Wilson, faced repercussions after creating an OnlyFans account under the alias “Sophie Palmer” to provide various services to subscribers, such as rating penis sizes and selling her underwear. Wilson, who had been teaching at Holbrook School for Autism since 2015, was exposed by a staff member who discovered her explicit Instagram account linking to OnlyFans.
The school’s HR team suspended Wilson upon uncovering her activities on the platform. Although she admitted to sharing images without revealing her face, the disciplinary panel found some photos that made her identifiable. Wilson acknowledged setting up the account and acknowledged that her actions tarnished the teaching profession’s reputation.
The panel determined that Wilson violated professional standards and failed to uphold public trust. Despite Wilson’s claim of not engaging in explicit activities on the platform, the panel noted that her conduct fell below ethical standards. Esteem MAT, the school authority, promptly investigated and dismissed Wilson in July 2023, referring the case to the Teacher Regulation Authority for further review.
