A recently unveiled lake at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm has garnered attention for its unique vulva-shaped design. Known as Vulva Lake or The Wet Patch, this pond was inaugurated at the start of Gynaecological Awareness Month in collaboration with the Lady Garden Foundation.
Designed to spark discussions about gynaecological cancers, The Wet Patch allows visitors to the Diddly Squat Farm shop to contribute to the cause by making donations with each purchase. The Lady Garden Foundation aims to raise awareness about preventable cancers such as cervical, ovarian, womb, vulval, and vaginal cancer, striving to reduce the number of women affected by these diseases.
Established in 2014, the Lady Garden Foundation initially supported research at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust on treatments for gynaecological cancers. Over the years, the foundation has expanded its efforts through various events, educational initiatives, awareness campaigns, and funding for global research projects.
Diddly Squat Farm, owned by renowned British TV personality Jeremy Clarkson, is located in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, spanning approximately 1,000 acres. Clarkson introduced the Diddly Squat Farm Shop in 2020, offering farm produce and locally sourced goods. The farm serves as the backdrop for the Amazon Prime series “Clarkson’s Farm,” where Clarkson delves into the challenges of managing a farm despite limited farming experience.
