Co-op has issued a recall for a batch of its own brand pork pies due to concerns about potential allergic reactions. The convenience store chain has withdrawn its Co-op 4 Mini Pork and Pickle Pies from shelves as they contain milk, which is not listed on the packaging, posing a health risk to individuals with milk allergies. The affected batch of pork pies, weighing 200g and with use-by dates of August 13, 14, and 16, 2025, should be returned to the nearest Co-op store for a full refund if you have a milk allergy.
In a recall notice posted online, Co-op advised consumers to return the products to their nearest store for a refund or contact their Customer Careline if they are self-isolating or shielding. This action follows reports about DWP state pensioners receiving an additional £352 for free.
