Google has unveiled a new Chromebook, the Chromebook Plus 14, created in collaboration with Lenovo. This Chromebook boasts a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor, making it one of the most powerful Chrome laptops available. The processor’s ARM architecture ensures high efficiency, offering up to 17 hours of battery life. Additionally, it features a vibrant 14-inch OLED display, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, multiple ports, and a backlit keyboard.
The Chromebook Plus 14 is designed for silent operation with a fan-free design and supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology for faster internet access. As a Chromebook, it comes equipped with a range of smart features powered by Google, such as instant photo editing, Google Lens for quick web searches, image creation tools, and a function called Help me read to simplify lengthy text.
Users also have full access to Google’s suite of apps, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Google Photos, along with millions of additional Android apps via the Play Store. The base model of the Chromebook starts at £599, with pricing increasing for models with higher RAM and storage capacities.
