“Sky Glass Air: Affordable 4K TV with Web-Based Content”

Sky has launched its latest TV offering, the Sky Glass Air, providing consumers with a more affordable way to access premium television content. The new internet-connected screen, initially unveiled in February, is now available for purchase on Sky’s website.

The Sky Glass Air starts at just £6 per month with a £20 upfront fee. This package includes a high-quality 4K display, Dolby Audio technology, and comprehensive voice control features through the sleek remote control. Customers can select from three color options, including White and Green, as well as larger screen sizes like 55 and 65 inches, although these come at an additional cost.

Unlike traditional satellite dishes, the Sky Glass Air operates solely through web-based content delivery. Users can enjoy personalized content recommendations, access to popular streaming services such as Netflix, and a convenient Playlists feature for saving content for later viewing.

However, the base price of £6 per month is for the TV subscription only. Additional content packages start from £15 per month, bringing the total cost to around £21 for over one hundred channels and Netflix. Subscribing to premium channels like Sports and Cinema will incur extra charges, with a full content package along with the Sky Glass Air costing over £50.

While the Mirror Online has reviewed the premium Gen 2 Glass TV positively, they have yet to fully evaluate the Sky Glass Air model. A comprehensive review of the Sky Glass Air is expected in the near future.
