Notably, households that previously received vouchers between October 2024 and March 2025 are not eligible for the current program. However, those who received help between April 2024 and September 2024 can apply for further aid after October 2025.

For instance, the City of Doncaster Council is aiding households receiving specific benefits like Universal Credit and free school meals. In Hartlepool, households with children aged between two and 19 who qualify for free school meals are eligible for £100 food vouchers. Pensioner households receiving council tax support will also receive £100 in either bank payments or food vouchers this year.
