Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch reveal strict ban they have enforced on their four kids
Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch have shared the strict rule they enforce on their four children to help improve their behaviour.
The couple revealed they ban devices like iPads and iPhones over Christmas, believing it encourages a more positive and engaged atmosphere. According to the pair, the device-free rule helps their kids connect more with the family and focus on enjoying the moment together.
Peter and Abbey have taken to their podcast to tell viewers about the rule. On The Therapy Crouch podcast, Peter said: “We said to them iPads and phones are gone and I feel we’ve stuck to that. We made a conscious effort amongst ourselves to cut them out and they’ve properly cut them out.” They also shared that other guidelines they follow include prioritising homework, ensuring family time before enjoying some quiet moments together after the kids are asleep.
They also mentioned other guidelines they follow, such as prioritising homework, spending time together as a family, and then enjoying some quiet moments once the kids are in bed.
Peter and Abbey have become one of Britain’s most beloved celebrity couples in recent years. Abbey, 39, is a model, TV personality, and the wife of former professional footballer Peter, 44. Peter, known for his impressive height and goal-scoring ability, had a successful career in the Premier League, playing for clubs such as Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and England’s national team. The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, have four children: Sophia, 13, Liberty, nine, Johnny, six, and Jack, three.
The six of them live in a lavish £3million Surrey mansion with their dog and two cats. The property features a swimming pool, a cinema room and a garden (rather aptly) fit for a giant.
“We couldn’t buy houses that we wanted because Pete couldn’t fit through the door,” fashion model Abbey once joked while speaking to ITV, referencing her husband’s towering 6ft 7in frame. Crouch, who also hosts That Peter Crouch Podcast alongside former team-mate Steve Sidwell, is one of the tallest footballers to ever play in the Premier League, and while his atypical height didn’t blight him professionally, it initially threatened to do so romantically.
