Amazon’s Fire TV Stick lineup remains dominant in the streaming realm despite the emergence of new competitors. These popular devices provide an easy way to upgrade older TVs with access to various apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+ at an affordable price point. However, for those seeking an enhanced Amazon experience, a recent significant upgrade has been unveiled.
Amazon has introduced a major enhancement to its latest Fire OS-powered Omni Mini-LED Series televisions, which already boast top-tier features such as 4K visuals, Dolby Vision technology, immersive sound quality, hands-free Alexa access, and a gaming mode. The latest addition, Interactive Art, enhances the existing Ambient Experience feature by offering over 10 interactive scenes that dynamically change as viewers move around the room.
Utilizing a high-fidelity radar sensor integrated into the televisions, Interactive Art brings the scenes to life in response to movement in front of the screen. Users can enjoy captivating visuals such as fluttering butterflies, swimming koi fish, and colorful tiles. Owners of the Omni Mini-LED Series TV can easily access this feature by instructing Alexa to navigate to the Ambient Experience and select the Interactive Art tile.
Amazon highlights that Interactive Art joins the vast collection of over 2,000 free, high-quality images available within the Ambient Experience on Fire TV. Additionally, Amazon has introduced Dual Audio, a new feature aimed at enhancing inclusivity by allowing users with hearing impairments to stream content simultaneously with others. This feature delivers high-quality audio directly to their hearing aids while others listen through the TV speakers.
To activate Dual Audio, customers can access the Accessibility menu in the Settings from the home screen. This feature is now available in all regions where the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series is sold, following the latest software update. Amazon’s continuous efforts to improve user experience and accessibility further solidify its position as a leading player in the streaming and smart TV market.
