“Body Found in Search for Missing Essex Man”

A man’s body has been discovered during the search for a missing individual from Essex. Steven Baker, a 50-year-old resident of Gestingthorpe in Essex, was reported missing and was last seen in Sudbury on November 18. Police confirmed the finding of a deceased man in Sudbury on the evening of November 28.

Steven was known to have ties to Essex, Hertfordshire, and Suffolk. Initially, the police expressed concerns about his well-being in their appeal for information. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently classified as unexplained, with no indications of foul play. Although Steven’s family has been informed of the discovery, formal identification procedures are pending.

Described as 5 feet 10 inches tall with long mousey-grey hair and a beard, Steven was wearing blue jeans, brown boots, and a black sweatshirt when he was last seen. The authorities are preparing a file for the coroner regarding this case. A spokesperson from Suffolk Police stated, “The search for Steven Baker, a 50-year-old resident of Gestingthorpe in Essex, who was last seen in Sudbury on Tuesday, 18 November, has concluded with the discovery of a body. The body was found in Sudbury on the evening of Friday, 28 November.”
