Witnesses at the scene described a two-vehicle convoy involving a Lexus SUV and a Pajero SUV, with Joshua seated behind the driver. Tragically, two occupants in the Lexus, including the passenger beside the driver and the individual next to Joshua, lost their lives in the crash.
Reports from The Times suggested that Joshua’s vehicle veered into the truck after a tire blowout, leading to the loss of control. Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Eyewitness images depicted Joshua standing, and the BBC reported that local police confirmed his condition as “fine” following the minor injuries sustained in the accident.
Joshua had been in Nigeria, his parents’ home country, before the crash. Prior to the accident, he shared a story on his Instagram account showing him playing table tennis with his personal trainer.
