An expert from British Gas has shared a tip on how to keep your home warm without using the central heating system.
Energy engineer Jessica Rawstron recommends leaving the oven door open after cooking to let the remaining heat escape into the room, providing extra warmth.
Jessica suggests, “Instead of closing the oven door right after cooking, why not leave it open to allow the heat to gradually spread throughout your kitchen?
“This simple trick can help maintain a cozy atmosphere while enjoying your meal. Just remember to keep children and pets away from the open door.”
British Gas has also provided tips for winter home preparation, such as sealing drafts around windows and doors.
