“Evri Courier Caught on Camera Taking Parcels, Promises Accountability”

A group of local residents in Netherton, Merseyside, were puzzled when their delivered parcels went missing. After reviewing security camera footage, they discovered that an Evri courier was seen taking the packages after falsely confirming their deliveries with photos outside the recipients’ homes.

The CCTV recordings from the residents’ homes captured the courier’s actions of placing the parcels at the door, photographing them, then picking them back up and walking away without attempting to contact the recipients.

Evri responded by terminating the courier’s employment, emphasizing their “zero-tolerance policy” towards such misconduct. One affected customer, Sharon Woodford, shared her experience of ordering bracelets for her daughters, only to find the parcels missing despite receiving delivery confirmation.

Another resident, Chloe Harrison-King, also faced a similar situation where her package disappeared under suspicious circumstances involving the same courier. The security camera footage from her building supported her claim of the courier taking the parcel and leaving without a proper delivery.

Expressing frustration, ex-serviceman Derek Wood questioned Evri’s reliability, citing his own experience of receiving a damaged package with missing items. He highlighted the added stress during the holiday season when replacing missing gifts can be challenging for many.

Evri reassured customers of their commitment to parcel integrity and customer satisfaction, promising to address the issue by ensuring responsible courier services. They emphasized that the vast majority of their couriers are dedicated and highly rated by customers for their service quality.

The incidents reported by the residents have sparked concerns within the community, with many sharing similar experiences of missing parcels. The affected customers are urging for improved accountability and reliability in delivery services, particularly during the busy holiday season.
