The vulnerabilities, known as CVE-2026-3909 and CVE-2026-3910, were classified as zero-day threats, indicating active exploitation by cybercriminals. Users are advised to ensure they have the latest Chrome version installed, which can be checked by accessing the browser menu and selecting “About Google Chrome.” The safe versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux are 146.0.7680.75/76 and 146.0.7680.75, respectively. Updating to these versions will protect users from potential online attacks. Google has confirmed the release of the updated versions, which will gradually roll out to users.
