Jamie Vardy’s Italian villa burgled during match

Jamie Vardy and his wife Rebekah fell victim to a burglary at their newly acquired villa in Italy over the weekend. The incident occurred while Vardy was away playing for Cremonese against AS Roma on Sunday. The thieves, believed to have been monitoring the couple, seized an estimated £80,000 worth of valuables, including cash, jewelry, watches, and a Patek Philippe.

Authorities revealed that three burglars accessed the Vardy’s upscale residence, where they looted the premises after entering through an open window. The perpetrators were captured on CCTV spending several minutes inside the house before fleeing with the stolen items, with only the babysitter present at the time.

Having relocated to the picturesque city of Salo in northern Italy earlier this year, Vardy, the former Premier League star, made the move after parting ways with Leicester City. The 37-year-old striker, who spent 13 seasons with Leicester, signed with Cremonese following the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League.

Sky has recently announced a price reduction on its Essential TV and Sky Sports package ahead of the 2025/26 season, offering members savings of £192 and access to over 1,400 live matches from the Premier League, EFL, and more. The upcoming season will see Sky broadcasting a minimum of 215 live Premier League games, a significant increase from previous seasons.
