The latest assessment of UK broadband services has revealed Plusnet as the unexpected champion, outperforming major competitors like BT, Sky, and Virgin Media. Plusnet, owned by BT, secured top honors for Best Broadband Provider, as well as winning accolades for being the Most Reliable Provider and Most User-Friendly.
Alex Tofts, a strategist at Broadband Genie, praised Plusnet for its no-frills approach, emphasizing its straightforward broadband-only deals with no setup costs or line rental, backed by excellent customer support. Alongside Plusnet, other notable winners recognized by Broadband Genie include NOW, Three, Vodafone, and Virgin across various categories such as Best Value for Money, Fastest Widely Available Provider, and Best Customer Service.
The survey also highlighted areas needing improvement, particularly in customer service satisfaction and value for money.
