Apple has introduced its latest model, the iPhone 17e, offering significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, a robust design, and an impressive single-lens camera, making it £200 cheaper than Apple’s flagship iPhone.
Samsung has also unveiled its new Galaxy models, the A57 and A37, starting at just £399. While these phones may not match the performance and charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 17e’s 60Hz display for smoother navigation and gaming experiences.
The Galaxy phones come equipped with large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance. Samsung has integrated advanced AI features into these devices, including Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions.
Furthermore, the Galaxy phones offer improved Voice Transcription within the Voice Recorder app, enabling users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail audio into text for easy reference. Samsung guarantees extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The Galaxy A57 5G will be offered in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac colors, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White hues.
