Samsung has unveiled its latest sleek device, the Galaxy S25 Edge, targeting those who prefer a slimmer smartphone. The new device boasts a remarkably thin design, measuring only 5.8mm in thickness and weighing just 163 grams, making it lighter than its counterpart, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which measures 8.3mm and weighs 218g.
The Galaxy S25 Edge features a durable titanium shell and Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection. It offers a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling for users.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same chip found in the S25 and S25 Ultra models. It sports a dual-lens camera with a 200MP wide lens for improved low-light photography and high-resolution videos.
Like its siblings, the Galaxy S25 Edge includes Galaxy AI capabilities, enabling features such as photo editing, email writing, and web searches by simply circling items on the screen. Additionally, it offers the Now Bar and Now Brief functions to keep users informed throughout the day.
Despite its impressive features, the Galaxy S25 Edge comes at a premium price, starting at £1,099. It also has a smaller battery capacity compared to its counterparts, potentially affecting its battery life. Reviews will reveal more insights into its performance and longevity.
Annika Bizon, Samsung UK & Ireland’s VP of Product and Marketing, described the Galaxy S25 Edge as a device that combines style with performance, offering customers a slim and elegant design without compromising on features.
