Samsung has officially announced that the new Galaxy S series smartphones will be revealed later this month during the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 25. The lineup is anticipated to include the standard S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra models. The event will be live-streamed on the Samsung website starting at 6pm GMT for viewers worldwide.
To entice fans to register early, Samsung is offering various incentives such as a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, double storage for pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers. The company emphasized that the upcoming smartphones are designed to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) features seamlessly into daily tasks, promising a more convenient and intuitive user experience.
Ahead of the launch event, retailers are discounting the current Galaxy S25 range in preparation for the arrival of its successor. For instance, the S25 Ultra’s monthly price at Sky Mobile has dropped from £43 to £31, resulting in savings of £432 over the contract period. Customers should note the £12 upfront cost and the requirement of a 36-month contract with a 100MB data limit.
Additionally, Amazon is offering a 20% discount on the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models for outright purchases, with prices reduced to £639.20 and £999.20 respectively. This deal will be available until February 24 or while stocks last. Fans can catch the Galaxy Unpacked event live on Samsung.com on February 25 at 6pm and register their interest on the website for updates.
