A mother was shocked to find an Uber Eats driver allegedly eating her McDonald’s meal that she had ordered. Bianca Green, a mother of three, located her delivery after noticing a delay in the Uber tracker’s estimated arrival time. She discovered the driver with her double sausage and egg McMuffin at the ready.
Video evidence captured the driver holding a McDonald’s cup, which Bianca claimed was part of her order and that he was drinking from. When confronted, the driver explained he was low on energy due to an injury. Despite his offer to replace the meal, Bianca declined, suspecting he would have continued consuming her food if she hadn’t intervened.
Following the incident recorded on November 11, Uber Eats stated that any employee found violating its guidelines or engaging in unlawful behavior would face appropriate consequences, possibly including losing access to the app.
In the video, Bianca questions the driver’s actions, highlighting his detour to McDonald’s before eating her food. The incident, occurring near her residence in Croydon, south London, left Bianca astounded. She later received a refund for her £16 order from McDonald’s.
