Sky TV has announced the upcoming release of its latest television offering, the Glass Air, in the UK next week. This new model, initially revealed in February, is set to hit the market on June 10th. The pricing for the Glass Air starts at just £6 per month for the 43-inch version, with options also available in 55 and 65-inch sizes.
The television features a high-resolution 4K HDR Quantum Dot display, a modern design with slim bezels, and Dolby audio technology for enhanced sound quality. It is offered in three colors to seamlessly blend into any living space: Sea Green, Carbon Grey, and Cotton White.
One standout feature of the Glass TV is its wireless functionality, eliminating the need for a satellite dish by streaming content directly through an internet connection. In addition to traditional live channels and on-demand content, the Sky Glass Air provides access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+.
While the base price of £6 per month excludes premium channels such as Sky Sports or Cinema, users have the option to customize their viewing experience by adding these channels at an additional cost. Sky also offers an Essential TV package for £15, bringing the total monthly cost to £21.
Customers can opt for a contract-free payment option by purchasing the Sky Glass Air upfront. Prices range from £309 for the 43-inch model to £649 for the 65-inch version. Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the launch, emphasizing the goal of providing quality entertainment at an affordable price point.
