Samsung and Google, well-known for their popular phones, are facing competition from a new player in the Android market. Nothing, a UK-based tech company, has entered the scene with its latest smartphone, the Phone (3), offering a unique feature that sets it apart from Galaxy and Pixel devices.
The Phone (3) boasts a Glyph Matrix micro-LED display on its rear case, allowing users to receive alerts, check timers, and even play games without utilizing the main 6.67-inch AMOLED front panel.
The Glyph Matrix is designed to reduce screen time and enhance the user experience by providing key information efficiently. This innovative approach replaces the previous Glyph Interface seen on Nothing’s earlier devices, emphasizing the practicality of the rear micro-LED screen.
Distinctive in appearance, the Phone (3) features a transparent case that offers a peek inside the device. It also includes an upgraded triple-lens rear camera system for improved night photography and 4K video recording capabilities.
Equipped with a fast Snapdragon® 8s Gen 4 processor and a sizable 5150mAh battery supporting fast charging and wireless charging, the Phone (3) promises high performance and convenience. Additionally, smart AI features assist users in tasks like web searches, photo editing, and email organization.
Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, expressed the brand’s commitment to innovation and personalization with the Phone (3), aiming to reignite excitement in tech by offering a flagship device that stands out from the crowd.
The Phone (3) will be available in black and white color options, with a 12 GB + 256 GB variant priced at £799 and a 16 GB + 512 GB model at £899. Global pre-orders for the Phone (3) will commence on July 4, 2025.
