“Teenager Accused of Multiple Sexual Assaults on London Trains”

A teenager, aged 17, is accused of committing multiple sexual assaults against women during a two-hour period while using public transportation in London. The incidents took place last Friday evening, and the police are seeking witnesses to assist in their investigation. The first reported assault occurred at around 4:40 pm on September 5 on a Bakerloo line train at Harlesden Underground station.

Following this initial incident, the suspect allegedly carried out further assaults on two additional women aboard a Thameslink train and at the platform of Blackfriars railway station. The series of alleged offenses continued with another assault on a woman on a Thameslink train heading towards St Pancras railway station around 6:40 pm, followed by a fifth assault at West Hampstead Thameslink station at approximately 7:00 pm.

British Transport Police have confirmed an arrest in connection with these incidents and are continuing their investigations. They are urging anyone who witnessed the assaults or may have been victims themselves to come forward and provide information to assist in the case.

In a statement, the police emphasized the need for witnesses, stating, “Officers are investigating a series of linked sexual offenses and are appealing to witnesses for information. The first incident occurred on a Bakerloo line train at Harlesden Underground station around 4:40 pm on Friday, September 5, where a 17-year-old boy allegedly sexually assaulted a woman.”

The statement continued, “Subsequently, he reportedly assaulted two more women on a Thameslink train and the platform at Blackfriars railway station. He then targeted another woman on a Thameslink train towards St Pancras railway station at approximately 6:40 pm and another woman at West Hampstead Thameslink station at around 7:00 pm.”
