Tennis sensation Casper Ruud has reportedly given each of his two younger sisters a lavish penthouse apartment as an early Christmas present. The 26-year-old athlete transferred the properties to his sisters without any cost involved.
According to reports from Norwegian media outlet Nettavisen, Ruud acquired the apartments in 2021 and 2024, respectively. Ranked 12th in the ATP world, Ruud has utilized his earnings from tennis to venture into real estate investments, amassing a total prize money of $26,128,848 (£19,743,741) throughout his career, in addition to potential income from sponsorships and commercial deals.
The purchase prices for the two apartments are documented to be NOK 5.2 million (£390,000) and NOK 6.45 million (£480,000) each, with legal records confirming the transfer to his sisters, 25-year-old Caroline and 19-year-old Charlotte.
Caroline, the younger sibling, aims to pursue a tennis career following in the footsteps of her brother and father. She is currently associated with the Rafael Nadal Academy and has participated in Futures tournaments.
In contrast, Caroline is actively engaged on social media, sharing fitness, lifestyle, and travel-related content with her followers.
Ruud’s most recent competition was in October at the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris, where he was defeated by Daniel Altmaier in straight sets during the round of 32.
Although he has yet to secure a Grand Slam victory, Ruud has reached the final stages of two French Opens and a US Open, facing defeats against renowned players such as Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, and Novak Djokovic in those instances.
Ruud skipped Wimbledon this year due to an injury sustained during the French Open and later disclosed that his absence was attributed to his fiancée Maria Galligani expecting their first child, hinting at exciting developments ahead for the couple.
