A young woman named Mina El Houari believed she had found her soulmate through online conversations. Convinced of their connection, the 25-year-old from Cadenet, France, decided to meet the man in person after weeks of chatting online.
Excited about the prospect of love, Mina traveled from France to Fez, Morocco, to meet her online companion. She booked a luxurious hotel for their date. Tragically, her journey took a dark turn, leading to her untimely death in a disturbing twist of fate.
Upon meeting the man at his residence, their conversation reportedly went well until Mina suddenly collapsed. The man, in a state of panic, mistakenly believed she had passed away. Without verifying her condition, he hastily buried her in his backyard, unaware that Mina was still alive.
Subsequently, it was revealed that Mina, an undiagnosed diabetic, had fallen into a coma when placed in the shallow grave, ultimately suffocating to death. Her family, concerned by her silence, alerted authorities and launched a search for her in Morocco.
Following investigations, the man was arrested for involuntary manslaughter after confessing to burying Mina alive. Police discovered evidence of the crime at his residence, leading to the tragic unveiling of Mina’s final resting place in Fez.
