Tubi App Expands Free Streaming Options on Fire TV Stick
Looking for fresh entertainment without breaking the bank on Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney+ subscriptions? Tubi app might be your answer. Launched in the UK last year, Tubi offers free streaming options on Fire TV Stick.
Recently, Tubi announced a significant upgrade in its content library, now boasting over 40,000 free movies and shows, doubling its initial offerings in 2024. This month, viewers can enjoy content from renowned studios like AMC Networks, Lionsgate, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
With these partnerships, Tubi now features popular titles such as Ghostbusters (2016), District 9, Elysium, I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Resident Evil series, The Mist, The Devil You Know, Remember Me, and Redemption (2013). More content is on the way.
Ross Appleton, Tubi’s General Manager in the UK, stated, “Tubi has doubled its library size since its UK launch, solidifying its position as the top platform for free movies and TV series in the UK. In a time of rising streaming costs and fragmentation, Tubi aims to provide viewers with diverse content choices and personalized viewing experiences—all for free.”
In addition to Fire TV Sticks, Tubi app is accessible on Apple TV, most smart TVs, smartphones, and via web browsers. The app includes a robust search function to help users find content tailored to their preferences.
While Tubi may not offer the latest blockbusters, it provides a vast selection of free content for viewers to enjoy.
