“Tuchel Shuffles England Squad for World Cup Qualifiers”

Thomas Tuchel has shared details of his decision to remove Trent Alexander-Arnold from the England squad, aiming to inject more competitiveness into the team. Tuchel also expressed regret and offered an apology to Jude Bellingham for dropping him due to a dip in form compared to Reece James and Tino Livramento. Tuchel mentioned that if not for an injury sidelining Arsenal’s Ben White, he would have been included in the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.

Former Liverpool player Alexander-Arnold, currently with Real Madrid, faced exclusion from the starting lineup in their recent match against Real Oviedo. Tuchel emphasized the importance of trust and support for players like Alexander-Arnold but highlighted Reece James’ recent strong performances as a deciding factor. Livramento’s versatility and form were also key considerations in the selection process.

Unfortunately, Ben White’s preseason injury prevented him from being part of the squad despite Tuchel’s positive assessment of his performance. Tuchel acknowledged the challenge ahead for Alexander-Arnold and expressed uncertainty about the impact of his previous comments on Bellingham, referring to them as unintentional and emphasizing the need to focus on the upcoming camp.

Regarding Sky’s offerings for the 2025/26 season, a discounted Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle has been announced, providing substantial savings and an expanded lineup of live matches, including more Premier League games compared to previous seasons.
