Virgin Media is introducing a new service called Smart Support for its customers in the UK. This service, available at no extra charge, offers around-the-clock assistance to ensure smooth internet connectivity year-round.

Smart Support automatically monitors broadband coverage and provides immediate help to users facing speed or connection issues. It offers quick solutions to keep users online and prevent interruptions during tasks like streaming or working from home. Additionally, Virgin Media can perform remote fixes overnight to avoid disruptions during the day.

If necessary, the service can assess if a customer requires a WiFi Pod or Hub upgrade for better whole-home coverage. Customers can also request an engineer for further assistance without incurring additional fees.

Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the importance of fast and reliable connectivity, emphasizing that Smart Support ensures quick issue resolution and customer peace of mind. The company is implementing this service for all customers as a standard feature.
