Eyewitnesses reported that the victim managed to move a short distance after the attack, seeking help from bystanders before collapsing near the church. Law enforcement, supported by sniffer dogs, swiftly responded to the scene, with the homicide unit from the Bielefeld police headquarters leading the investigation. The police have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
