“Tyrrell Hatton Voices Frustration at The Masters”

Professional golfer Tyrrell Hatton expressed his disappointment with the course after facing an early setback in his final round at The Masters on Sunday. Hatton started the day at 4-under par, following a level par on Saturday and an impressive 66 on Friday.

Although he began positively with a birdie on the second hole, he then dropped a shot on the 251-yard par-3 fourth hole, which proved to be a costly mistake for the Englishman. His tee shot landed just off the green, and what should have been a routine two-putt turned into a challenging four attempts, resulting in visible frustration from the 34-year-old.

Hatton’s frustration was evident as he vocalized his discontent with the course, exclaiming, “This place is frustrating.” Spectators were in for another outburst shortly after when Wyndham Clark also expressed his frustration with an expletive-laden outburst.

Despite the early setback, Hatton’s round improved with a hole-out eagle on the seventh hole and a birdie on the eighth, boosting his spirits. The challenging conditions, particularly the firm greens due to the Augusta heat, affected several players, including Hatton’s teammate Jon Rahm, who struggled with three bogeys on a course he found unusually firm.

Reflecting on his performance, Rahm acknowledged the need to make adjustments for future tournaments due to the unique conditions at The Masters this year, highlighting the firmness of the greens and fairways as a significant challenge.

Hatton concluded his final round at -10, taking the clubhouse lead as other players like Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose continued their rounds. The Masters coverage began on April 6, with live broadcast available through Sky’s Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering a comprehensive viewing experience for golf enthusiasts.
