During the holiday season, my preference for Christmas dinner leans towards the traditional side. Give me a plate filled with turkey, stuffing, and pigs-in-blankets, and I am content for the day.
Recently, I encountered a new Christmas Pizza on Prezzo’s 2025 festive menu. Intrigued yet skeptical, I wondered if the restaurant could successfully blend the essence of a roast with an Italian favorite. Eager to find out, I visited Prezzo with friends to explore their ‘Christmas Party Menu’, offering three courses for £28.95 throughout December.
As a cheese enthusiast, selecting the Hot Honey Glazed Giant Mozzarella Sticks as my starter was a no-brainer. These sticks, crispy and generously portioned, oozed with molten cheese and paired perfectly with marinara and basil pesto. While I wished for a stronger honey glaze, this starter is sure to please any diner at Prezzo this December.
The highlight of the evening arrived with the main course: Prezzo’s Christmas pizza. Loaded with turkey, stuffing, pigs-in-blankets, brie, and cranberry ketchup on a thin, crispy tomato base, the pizza did not skimp on toppings. Opting for a larger size, I was overwhelmed by the sheer size of the pizza, though it turned out to be the highlight of the night.
The crispy pigs-in-blankets stole the show, followed by the flavorful stuffing and the surprisingly complementary brie and cranberry ketchup. However, the turkey fell short, as the tiny, slightly rubbery cubes left much to be desired. Nonetheless, as my first Christmas pizza experience, I enjoyed it more than I had anticipated.
To end the feast, my friends and I savored Prezzo’s Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake for dessert. Despite its appearance, the cake was light yet rich, complemented by salted caramel and chocolate sauce, crumbled Cadbury Flake, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Serving the cake warm would have enhanced the contrast with the ice cream even further.
In conclusion, Prezzo’s Christmas Party Menu offers excellent value. While the Christmas Pizza and dessert could have been slightly improved, the three-course meal priced at £28.95 left me feeling festive and completely satiated. I would not hesitate to order these courses again.
For those curious about the full Christmas Party Menu offerings, a comprehensive menu is available on Prezzo’s website.
