The Isle of Man TT recently confirmed the tragic death of Daniel Ingham, a 33-year-old rider from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. The incident occurred during a qualifying session at Doran’s Bend on the course. Ingham, survived by his wife Helayna and two children, had been participating in the third qualifying session when the accident took place.
In 2016, Ingham began his Mountain Course journey as a competitor in the Manx Grand Prix before transitioning to the Isle of Man TT Races. Over his 10 years of competition, he achieved several podium finishes, notably securing first place in the 2024 Senior Manx Grand Prix.
The Isle of Man TT Races extended their deepest sympathies to Ingham’s family and friends. This marks the first fatality at the TT since 2024 and follows a fatal incident at the Billown circuit last weekend during the Pre-TT Classic Road Races.
Tributes have flooded in for Ingham, with fans acknowledging the risks riders undertake at the Isle of Man TT. In another development, Sidecar class favorites Ryan and Callum Crowe, winners of the 2025 race, were hospitalized following a crash. The Isle of Man TT has suspended the Sidecar class for the rest of the event, prioritizing safety for all participants and spectators. Further updates will be provided through official Isle of Man TT Races channels.
