“Adam’s Law”: New Judge Judy-style show set to debut

A new television judge is making waves as CBS Media Ventures unveiled a trailer for “Adam’s Law,” a fresh syndicated daytime courtroom series starring Adam Levy, the 58-year-old son of the renowned Judge Judy. Fans of Judge Judy’s trademark sharp wit and no-nonsense attitude will find familiarity in Levy’s quick-witted and cutting remarks showcased in the trailer, carrying on the legacy of his famous mother.

Despite initially being reluctant to pass on the gavel, Judge Judy admitted in the trailer that she wouldn’t have encouraged her son to take on the show years ago because she wasn’t ready to give it up herself. The 83-year-old star jokingly expressed concerns about her son potentially surpassing her talent, emphasizing her competitive spirit.

Scheduled to debut on September 14, the new series, executive produced by Judge Judy, follows the success of the original “Judge Judy” show, which ended five years ago after a 25-season run. With Levy’s extensive legal background, including serving as a district attorney and his experience in the courtroom reality TV realm, viewers can anticipate a thrilling and justice-driven show similar to his mother’s iconic style.

Levy’s emphasis on truth and justice is evident as he advises litigants to be honest on “Adam’s Law,” highlighting his commitment to integrity. Judge Judy has full confidence in her son’s abilities, predicting that his show will top daytime ratings with his engaging personality and legal expertise. The show is set to air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S. and on Citytv in Canada, promising a continuation of the family legacy in the courtroom reality TV realm.
