“Three Fatal Road Accidents Rock Quebec Overnight”

Three individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Quebec overnight. The first incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near Chemin Mistral in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, where a vehicle veered off Route 132 East. The driver, a 35-year-old man who was the sole occupant, tragically died at the scene due to losing control of the vehicle. The road was temporarily closed but reopened by 4:45 a.m.

In a subsequent incident at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Route 138 near Franquelin, emergency services responded to a single-vehicle accident involving four individuals. The driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, resulting in one fatality and leaving the other three occupants in critical condition. Two out of the three lanes in the vicinity were closed following the accident.

A third accident was reported around 6 a.m. on Route 138 in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The driver of a car traveling eastbound lost control, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times. A man and a woman in their 30s were inside the car, both sustaining serious injuries. Sadly, the 37-year-old woman passed away at the hospital, while the man remains in critical condition.

Emergency services and authorities are still investigating the causes of these tragic incidents on Quebec roads.
