Alpine successfully met the criteria for the Right of Review, presenting evidence that the timing loops inaccurately calculated car speeds, affecting Gasly and other drivers. The team will now proceed to a second hearing to challenge Gasly’s penalties. If successful, the Monaco race results may be revised, potentially causing controversy among teams facing similar penalties.
Alongside Gasly, George Russell also faced consequences due to a speeding penalty, impacting his points. The resolution of this situation remains uncertain.
