Onlookers were taken aback as the two Santas, dressed in traditional Russian Ded Moroz attire complete with white beards, engaged in a physical altercation near the produce section. During the scuffle, fruit and a small Christmas tree were knocked over, causing a commotion. Despite a security guard’s attempt to intervene, one of the Santas aggressively pushed him aside. Eventually, two robust security personnel in black attire had to step in to separate the feuding Santas. A concerned mother quickly ushered her child away from the scene to shield them from the confrontation.
Witnesses in Baku reassured that no serious injuries occurred during the incident. One observer likened the clash to a territorial dispute similar to those seen in mafia conflicts. Subsequently, law enforcement officials questioned the Santas regarding the public altercation.
