England is set to kick off their 2026 World Cup campaign against Croatia in Dallas at 9pm UK time. The match location was recently confirmed after the group stage draw took place. FIFA has now revealed the full schedule of kick-off times and venues for all 104 games of the upcoming tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Three Lions will play their opening match against Croatia on Wednesday, June 17. Their second game against Ghana is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 in Boston at 9pm UK time.
Following these matches, Thomas Tuchel’s team will face Panama on Saturday, June 27 in New York at 10pm UK time to conclude their group stage fixtures. If England tops Group L, they might face co-hosts Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina on their way to a potential final against France or Spain, who defeated them in the Euro 2024 final.
Meanwhile, Scotland will start their campaign against Haiti in Boston on Sunday, June 14. Their subsequent matches include facing Morocco on Thursday, June 18, and a highly anticipated clash with Brazil in Miami on Wednesday, June 24, both at 11pm.
Unlike England, Scotland, drawn from pot 3, faces a challenging task to secure a top-two finish in their group. However, the top eight of the 12 third-placed teams will also progress to the knockout stage.
Tuchel acknowledged the tough opponents in England’s group, emphasizing the importance of focusing on each match to progress. The England manager highlighted the significance of not underestimating any team, especially Croatia, the highest-ranked team from Pot 2 in their group.
