“Joshua and Fury’s Mega Bout Nearing Reality”

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury’s highly anticipated bout is moving closer to reality as Eddie Hearn disclosed that negotiations are progressing well.

Joshua is gearing up for a comeback in July after a hiatus following his impressive victory over Jake Paul in December, which was marred by a car accident shortly after. He has been training with Oleksandr Usyk, a former rival turned friend, and recently made a public appearance in the UK at Derek Chisora’s fight against Deontay Wilder.

Following Fury’s dominant win over Arslanbek Makhmudov, the heavyweight champion called for a showdown with Joshua, who hesitated to commit to the fight initially. However, Hearn indicated a positive update, revealing Joshua’s plan to return to the ring before facing Fury twice, with the matches expected to be broadcast on DAZN and Netflix.

While speculation arose about the fight potentially happening in Dublin at Croke Park, Hearn stated that the location would be determined by Turki Alalshikh. He emphasized the significance of the fight and expressed optimism that it would take place in the UK.

Regarding the fight promotion, Hearn mentioned potential involvement from various parties but highlighted that no official agreements have been made yet. The first fight is likely to be on DAZN, with discussions ongoing for the second fight to possibly be on Netflix, all subject to further talks with Alalshikh.

As the anticipation builds for the epic showdown between Joshua and Fury, fans await further developments on the venue and promotional details.
