The top loyalty schemes in the UK have been unveiled, with Tesco Clubcard clinching the leading position.
A survey of 2,200 individuals was conducted for the Retail Loyalty Index, evaluating loyalty programs at 51 prominent UK retailers.
Participants were questioned about their satisfaction level with the loyalty scheme, their likelihood to recommend it, the personalization of rewards, and the security of handling personal information by the retailer.
Each retailer was assigned a score out of ten to determine their ranking.
Tesco Clubcard claimed the top spot with an impressive overall score of 8.38, praised by shoppers for being a “very generous program with abundant redemption options” and for making shopping “more affordable and convenient.”

Tesco achieved the highest “continue to shop” score of 9.16, with customers integrating Clubcard into their shopping habits.
Clubcard members accumulate one point for every £1 spent both in-store and online. Upon collecting 100 points, customers can redeem £1 in-store or £2 with various partners, including Disney+, restaurants, days out, and travel.
Securing the second position is Leon Club, scoring 8.20
