Acer has introduced a new series of Windows laptops that are being touted as the fastest ever and are positioned as competitors to Apple products. The tech company recently revealed the latest iteration of its Swift lineup, the Swift Spin 14 AI.
According to Acer, their Swift laptops are described as the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs to date, featuring the Snapdragon X2 Series processor. This processor is claimed to provide exceptional performance and seamless AI capabilities, challenging Apple’s high-performance Silicon chips.
Being a Copilot+ PC, it is equipped with a comprehensive set of AI functionalities and tools. Its adaptable and portable design allows for quick conversion from a laptop to a tablet. Prior to its release in July, Acer is offering discounts ranging from £200 to £300 across its existing Swift laptop range, with discounts varying based on the chosen size and internal storage capacity.
The most significant discount available is for the Acer Swift Go 16 AI model, reduced from £1,299.99 to £999.99, providing a saving of £300. This model boasts a slim and lightweight design with a fully extendable hinge allowing for a flat 180° opening.

Acer is offering a £300 discount on the Swift Go 16 AI laptop, which comes with 1TB of internal storage and 32GB of memory. Alternatively, for those inclined towards Apple products, Sky Mobile offers the new 15” MacBook Air M5 at £28 with a 48-month contract and an upfront payment of £12.
Another budget-friendly option is the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus Gemini AI Laptop, available at a reduced price of £516.35 on Amazon, down from £559.19. This lightweight model is suitable for everyday tasks, while its 1080p Full HD display enhances streaming, photo editing, and gaming.
