Carey Price is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre in Montreal, where he has spent his entire NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens have announced that Price will be honored on Nov. 10 for his Hall of Fame induction, which is scheduled for the preceding day.
As the 62nd member of the organization to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, Price will join the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a prestigious designation for former players who have achieved great success in hockey. Throughout his 15-year career, Price played 712 games, boasting a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. He holds the franchise records for most games played and victories as a goaltender.
The ceremony will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Price, a seven-time all-star and the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, will be celebrated for his contributions to the Canadiens. The team’s pre-season kicks off on Sept. 19, with the regular season starting on Sept. 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
