Actor Dylan Walsh, known for his role in “Heated Rivalry,” caused a stir when he hinted at the possibility of filming twelve new episodes for the popular hockey romance series. This sparked speculation among fans that multiple seasons could be in the pipeline.
During a video message on the Cameo platform, the 62-year-old American actor shared his excitement for his role as the father of hockey player Shane Hollander, portrayed by Canadian actor Hudson Williams, in the show. Walsh expressed pride in being part of “Heated Rivalry” and hinted at the production of 12 new episodes, suggesting more content for fans to enjoy.
However, Walsh quickly found himself in hot water for his comments. He issued an apology and temporarily suspended his Cameo account, acknowledging that he had spoken prematurely about the production schedule without official confirmation. He expressed regret for causing confusion among both the production team and fans but reiterated his gratitude for the show’s enthusiastic following.
The show’s representatives have yet to respond to inquiries regarding Walsh’s remarks. Apart from his role in “Heated Rivalry,” Walsh has featured in various TV series and films, including “Nip/Tuck,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Superman & Lois,” “Congo” (1995), and “The Stepfather” (2009).

Following its successful debut, the show was renewed for a second season by Crave just weeks after its initial release.
Filming for the second season predominantly occurs in Toronto and Montreal, according to industry reports. Recently, Crave Canada announced five new cast members for the upcoming season, generating further excitement among fans and the entertainment community.
