“Sky Subscribers Experiencing Frustrating ITVX Glitch”

Some Sky subscribers are facing a frustrating issue with the popular ITVX app. The problem started recently, with users reporting that their viewing experience is being disrupted by a glitch that causes programs to skip to the end unexpectedly. This means that viewers are being abruptly taken to the credits without any manual fast-forwarding.

Users have taken to Sky’s forum page to express their concerns. One user named Dazzasky complained about the ITV Player skipping ahead to the end of episodes, causing inconvenience for the past few days. Another user, Dawn, also highlighted similar issues where programs jump to the end randomly, often at the start or after an ad break.

The technical glitch seems to be affecting users with Sky’s online devices, such as Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it is uncertain if Sky Q is also impacted, most complaints are coming from users with broadband-connected devices rather than satellite dishes.

Despite the cause of the problem remaining unknown, a Sky representative named Kev has acknowledged the issue and assured users that the company is actively working on a solution. Kev mentioned in a forum post that they are collaborating with ITV to address the issue and will provide updates once more information is available.

For now, users may have to endure the skipping problems until a resolution is implemented. Mirror Online will keep readers informed of any developments regarding this issue.
