The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at their home court, marking the 14th instance in the last 15 years. The NBA recently unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, with the Raptors commencing their campaign on October 21 against the Chicago team at the Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto will hit the road for their first away game against Washington just two days later.
Among the notable matchups at the Raptors’ home court are consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, slated for November 15 and 17. Additionally, fans can look forward to the Toronto squad facing off against Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10, as well as Canadian sensation Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.
January is expected to be the busiest month for the Raptors, with a packed schedule of 17 games, including a six-game streak at home. Throughout the season, Toronto will play a total of 15 back-to-back games, seven of which will not involve extensive travel. While the NBA has announced 80 of the Raptors’ 82 games, the remaining two will be scheduled post the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament.
Despite the exciting lineup, the Raptors will not be featured in the prestigious Christmas Day games this year. The last time Toronto played on December 25 was in 2019 when they held the title of NBA champions.
