Despite initially believing that “Chicken Shop Date” would be a lifelong project, she now feels it’s time to embark on a new adventure.
The show, which Dimoldenberg initiated 12 years ago by interviewing musicians in the UK’s underground rap scene, has evolved to feature conversations with renowned personalities such as Keke Palmer, Conan O’Brien, Paul McCartney, and Jack Harlow. With nearly 3.5 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, Dimoldenberg’s unconventional format of conducting interviews over fried chicken has garnered significant popularity.
“Chicken Shop Date” offers a unique setting where Dimoldenberg engages celebrities in a casual and humorous manner, generating playful banter akin to a first date rather than a traditional interview.
