“Windsor Man Arrested for Impaired Driving After House Collision”

The Windsor Police Service has announced the arrest of a 27-year-old man for impaired driving following a car collision with a house. The incident occurred on Armanda Street close to Malden Road at around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, as reported by the authorities.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the vehicle had crashed onto the front lawn of the residence, with its front bumper in contact with the front steps. The driver was found inside the vehicle, exhibiting various signs of possible impairment such as red, glossy eyes, slurred speech, unsteadiness, and drowsiness, according to the police.

Subsequently, the driver was apprehended and transported to the Windsor police headquarters for further processing. A breath test conducted at the station revealed that his blood alcohol level exceeded the legal limit by more than double. Consequently, he is facing charges of impaired driving.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the incident. However, the house sustained damages amounting to over $10,000 due to the collision.
