Canada’s head coach, Cindy Tye, has unveiled the roster for the upcoming under-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. The team comprises 21 players, with a mix of three goalkeepers, five defenders, eight midfielders, and five forwards, set to compete from September 5 to 27.
Additionally, six alternates will accompany the squad to Poland to aid in preparations before the tournament kick-off. The team is scheduled to convene in Lublin, Poland, on August 23, moving to their tournament base camp in Bielsko-Biala on August 30. A closed-door match against Spain is slated for August 31.
Canada, among the 24 participating nations, finds itself in Group B. The team will commence their campaign against England on September 5, followed by a clash with Brazil on September 8, and will conclude the group stage against Tanzania on September 11.
The Canadian squad secured their spot in the U-20 World Cup following their victory at the 2025 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship, where they clinched the regional title for the third time.
