After spending eight years on the ITV show, a regular member of Loose Women has said an emotional goodbye to their colleagues.
Earlier this year, ITV announced significant changes to its daytime lineup affecting shows like Loose Women, Lorraine, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain.
Starting from January 2026, these shows will be relocated to a new central London venue and will follow an updated broadcasting schedule.
As part of the reorganization, Loose Women will return to its previous time slot of 12.30pm to 1.30pm on a seasonal 30-week basis.
Additionally, Loose Women will no longer have a live studio audience, resulting in comedian Lee Peart stepping down from his role as the warm-up act, a position he held since 2017.
In a heartfelt social media post, Lee confirmed his departure, expressing his mixed feelings about leaving the show and bidding farewell to Ruth Langford, Gloria Hunniford, and Kellé Bryan.
Following his announcement, Lee received overwhelming support from fans on Facebook, with many praising his humor and contribution to the show.
Nadia Sawalha, an original Loose Women panelist, shared her sadness about Lee’s departure on her Coffee Moaning podcast, emphasizing the importance of the audience and her friendship with Lee in the show.
The ITV programming changes will also affect Lorraine and Good Morning Britain, with Lorraine airing for 30 weeks from 9.30am to 10am, and This Morning continuing from 10am to 12.30pm.
Furthermore, Good Morning Britain’s runtime will be extended by 30 minutes, running from 6am to 9.30am, and an additional 30 minutes when Lorraine is off the air.
Loose Women can be watched on ITV1 and ITVX on weekdays at 12.30pm.
